2012 is a big year for our family. Not only are we adding another person to our family, but we have made the big step of buying a house. That's right, as of last Friday we are the new, proud homeowners of this house.

To say we are excited is a bit of an understatement. The house boasts three bedrooms, two baths, beautifully refinished wood floors, large south facing windows, a full daylight basement, and a large backyard that I'm excited to plant stuff in next spring. Although we closed on the house this last weekend (a long two month process!) we don't get to move in until the end of July. We will already be a family of three by that point and it's hard to be patient. For now we must be satisfied with continual drivebys. (I'm sure they recognize our car by now) I'm beginning to feel like everything in our life is looking ahead to this summer right now - it's going to be a good one!
