It's a Bug's Life...

Here is a post about Olivia for the family members who don't get to watch her growing all the time.

 Favorite Food: Macaroni and cheese.

Favorite Toy: Kitty, followed closely by Giraffe. Olivia loves to walk around the house with one under her arm, stopping periodically to pat it on the head and give it a kiss.

Favorite Pose: Standing with her hands behind her back giving nods of approval as she watches people move.

Favorite Play Place: Outside in the front garden. Wood chips are an endless source of fun and amusement.

She also loves to pull pillows of the couch and then lie on the ground and go "awww" because that's what I did when I saw her doing it the first time. Yes, she already knows she cute.

She is also very affectionate. At random moments she will give out kisses to your leg, or arm, or whatever is in reaching distance. Of course it's kiss and run as she rarely has time to stop and snuggle. Her love is not limited to Paden and me either. Besides her stuffed animals getting kisses, once in a while she is overwhelmed with love for the couch or the coffee table and one of them gets a kiss too.

Although her consistent vocabulary is very small, (limited to "hi" and "dad") what she lacks in words she more than makes up for in inflection. She has plenty to say and, although the words aren't in English yet, you can almost understand the story by the wide range of inflection and emotion put into the monologue.

It's a bugs life.
